Shiitake mushrooms are being used in high end skin creams because they contain what is called Kojic acid. What this acid does is prevent the excess formation of melanin in the skin which makes for a brighter complexion. The astringent quality of the acid also helps the skin tighten, which makes it look more youthful.

I have used it for years and love it. But it is especially wonderful since I've moved to Colorado. At over 6,000 ft it is extremely dry and moisture just gets sucked out of your skin.

This really is the best night crème ever
I have used so many different night cremes - this is the best! I don’t usually write reviews but just had to for this product. When I was at the farmers market last year in San Antonio I decided to try it and now I can not live without it. I use it night and lots of times mornings on my face and neck.
